hi my name is Kelly Hoefer I teach at Stone Canyon Elementary and I've been here for twelve years I like to say I got my start in teaching as a popcorn lady and a homeroom Mom I had the opportunity to just help out at my kids school I was copy mom I helped out with PTO I started subbing and I realized that I loved being in a school environment my friend Kathy Hill came into the workroom one day and said you should go get your teaching degree and I was a little intrigued I thought well you know I could do that I next thing I knew I was signing up to get my degree and here I am now is not an exaggeration to say that I wake up every day ready to come to school I'm excited to see my kids and think of all the possibilities for a day where else do get to see the world through the eyes of your students I feel like when they come to me they're like little puzzles that I get to solve each one has unique and special needs getting to unlock those is a true joy sometimes this leads me prayer and even a few tears but there is nothing better than when that struggling student comes to me and says Mrs. Hoefer I get it now to which I say I knew you would Kelly Hoefer is if you asked anyone is one of those unique people that inspires motivate and encourage everyone the way she does that is her positive attitude Kelly doesn't worry about the circumstances or the situation she's going to tackle that head-on and have the absolute best attitude that anyone could have she's someone that always wants to do her best she wants those around her meeting her students and her teammates and the school is a whole to be able to do their best as well to accomplish what they're trying to do she someone that doesn't give up she's always looking for a way to inspire others help others encourage others not only here at school but in the community as well and Kelly's just someone that not only get I look up to everyone in our site looks up to my husband David and I chose the Owasso Community to raise our children I love having the opportunity to work and teach here and just share experiences I feel seen I feel heard and loved being part of the Owasso Community as a teacher my name is Kelly Hoefer and I am proud to be in Owasso Ram!
